VeriTime Release Notes – Week of June 23, 2014

During the week of June 23rd, 2014, we are planning to release some changes to functionality in VeriTime. This release will include a new option for User Templates, some settings name changes, updates to the Rounding Rules page, the Payroll Review report, and more. Read on for more information.

User Template Changes

Two User Template settings will be renamed. “Timesheet on Portal” will be renamed to “View Timesheet” and “Clock on Portal” will be renamed “View Clock”.

There will also be a new option under User Templates called “Can Modify Timesheets”. This option will appear when you have selected “View Timesheet”.

Selecting this option will allow the employee or substitute to edit their own timesheet.

Leaving this option unchecked will still allow the employee or substitute to view and submit time worked, but will not allow edits of any kind.

New Look for Custom User Group Create/Edit Page

The Create/Edit page for Custom User Groups will be updated with a new look that matches other pages we have already updated in previous releases. The search bar will be moved and the Assign and Unassign buttons will be more obvious and easy to find.

New Filters on the Payroll Review Report

In the filter area of the Payroll Review Report there will be a new checkbox list for “Narrow by Location”. This will now allow you to select which locations you would like to show up in the results of the report. There will be a “No Location” checkbox for wage records where no location is specified.

The report will also be updated with the option to filter the results by a set up visibility profile. The results will only display the Users within the visibility selected.

Rounding Rules Page Updated

The Rounding Rules page will be updated with the new look and feel to match the rest of the website.

We will also be adding a new details view for each rounding rule. This view will show the rounding settings and the employees and substitutes who are associated with the specific Rounding Rule. To access this details page you will click the name of the the Rounding Rule or reach it via the Quick Links menu.
